BHANGRA EMPIRE TEAM AUDITIONS

MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

Being on Bhangra Empire requires a high level of commitment. Below are a few of the requirements team members would need to adhere to:

  • Attend all practices punctually
  • Practice consistently on your own to improve
  • Practice multiple times a week as we get closer to the performance
  • Submit videos after practice to track progress

Team practices will be conducted 2 times per week and will be in-person at Empire Studio in Pleasanton. Members will also have to send weekly practice videos.

AUDITION INFORMATION

PLEASE NOTE: AUDITIONS ARE OPEN TO ANYBODY 18 AND OVER THAT LIVES WITHIN THE BAY AREA. YOU MUST FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW TO RESERVE YOUR AUDITION SPOT. WE HAVE LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE SO IF YOU DO NOT FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW, YOU WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED AND AUDITION SPOT.

Auditions for the 2024-2025 year will be conducted in-person. We will be accepting a limited amount of members. Please find details below:

EMPIRE INTENSIVE WORKSHOP

Tuesday July 23rd 8PM to 9PM @ Empire Studio

This is a workshop taught by Bhangra Empire founders and intended to prepare you for auditions open only to ages 18 and up. It is not mandatory, however we will be going through all the different types of footwork that you will be required to know for your audition. We highly recommend people that are interested in joining Bhangra Empire to attend. Tickets are available at the link below. STEP 1: FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW

Please fill out the form below with the necessary information to let us know a little bit more about yourself as well as your experience in Bhangra and Dance. Make sure you fill out the form before the audition date.

    STEP 2: ATTEND YOUR AUDITION SESSION AT EMPIRE STUDIO

    At auditions, you will learn a 45-60 second segment in 60 minutes and audition in front of Bhangra Empire captains and choreographers shortly after performing the segment only one time. We will be looking for execution of the choreography, energy, and expression while dancing.

    STEP 3: AUDITION RESULTS

    After auditions conclude, we will be reviewing each members audition video and will get back to you by the middle of August.
